I specialize in child and adolescent assessment, treatment, and support. I am passionate about children, and I have more than 25 years of experience working with youth and families in a variety of settings. I provide a caring, nurturing environment where children can explore their strengths and areas of development, gain insights, and discover their full potential.
Assessment of cognitive, academic/learning, attentional, and behavioral/emotional functioning.
Counseling/therapy sessions with children, teens, and families.
Educational planning via collaboration with parents and public/private school personnel (specialization in Catholic School Learning Support Programs).
I have worked with children and families in several settings, including teen substance abuse research, therapeutic foster care, youth group homes, youth emergency shelters, schools, and private practice. My theoretical orientation is primarily behavioral and cognitive-behavioral, although I also incorporate techniques from other approaches.
